"And, holy shit, if it isn't a Goddess singing straight into my ears... Like, picture if Mary just came down from Heaven riding a golden dragon, and she just came up to you, personally, in all her spiritual might, and just started singing into your ear. That's what this would sound like" - 8/10 Brutal Resonance

It's a testament to the bond that family can offer. Despite being in the same country, Australian brother and sister Julian and Jess Nichols are further away from each other than the entire length of Europe. Despite these difficulties, they're able to unite often enough to deliver proud, talented, untethered music full of emotion and melody. Julian's instrumental background and multi-talented songwriting courts a teasing relationship with Jess' beautiful operatic vocal style - think Epica meets the Cruxshadows, given a slightly more 'Industrial' once-over. Importantly, the stereotype of using ladies with a high-soprano vocal range to promote this style is removed here, and although Jess' voice may be best compared as such, her style is more defined, reaching a beautiful plateau only accelerated and stressed by the instrumentation that Julian painstakingly crafts. Distance isn't the only reason this act takes a while to produce - since their demo 'Chrono Scar', the onus has truly been on re-creating that breathtaking sound that is just harder and harder to seek these days.
